I really love L.A and I like the edge on every single corner.

After a hard day producing we dressed up a bit for dinner on the rooftop of our hotel. The guy in the background is our producer who was fun to be with.
PS: Bad hair day ;)

I had some crazy days in L.A. We just dropped out the plane and started to work immediately. It’s still nice to escape for a couple of days though.

Sometimes it’s just nice to meet good friends and have some delicious fresh swedish kladdkaka (sticky chocolate cake) with creme and fruits. To us, Stockholm is more than just a nice and beautiful city. It still feels like home with quality time and an inspiring surrounding. It’s simply nice to be surrounded by people who share the same kind of vision and approach.

A few weeks ago we visited Oma Else in Cologne and went on a quick coffee round downtown. Strange to walk around in the old neighborhood. Hamburg feels so much more like home now. And Stockholm. And Berlin. No beer beats a Kölsch though! ;-)

It happened again. I didn’t pack enough stuff for Stockholm ;) As always it was colder than expected so I had to borrow some stuff from someone else. In this particular case it meant wearing something from Philipp. Actually it turns out that I like this raincoat a lot.

During the easter holiday we spent some days in lovely Stockholm. One think I almost like the most is the incredible sunshine and light.

So at last, here comes the final part of our Thailand impressions. We hope we didn’t get on your nerves ;) It’s no secret, we love Asia for so many reasons. It’s always worth for visit because of the culture, people, food, art and great landscapes. See you soon, Asia.

Once we arrived in Bangkok, we met the white rabbit, went through thousands of malls, didn’t have a dental surgery, had a Mos Burger, saw a lot of cats, searched for Little India, …. The list goes on and on. We had a great time!

Even in Thailand the climate changes. When it’s usually sunny for weeks, we had some bad weather coming up in the south. So we decided to spend our last days in Bangkok and do some cultural activities. We visited Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha) which was impressive because it isn’t just a tourist attraction but still in use. A really inspiring place.

I don’t know why but like last time in NYC for some spooky reason we always end up in Yoga Places. We found a really cozy and beautiful place where we stayed for four days. In a great atmosphere we spent our last days on the seaside.

That wasn’t our first trip to Thailand so like we always do when on vacation we decided just to travel around and stop by were we liked.
Most of the time we stayed for 2 or 3 days until we hit the road, ehhh boat ;) again. By accident we ended up at one of the most known places for climbing, Tonsai Beach. Whenever you looked up the rocks you saw someone hanging there. Crazy.

After the worst summer in history we really need some holiday. Instead of a holiday at the beachside, we decided to go to NYC. It’s almost the same. ;)
We found a really fun place to stay and we can’t wait to see it.
It was more of an accident but the New York Fashion Week is held during our stay in the city.
So if you have any party recommendations, concerts that we need to see or gallery openings, please let us know.
Of course we will keep on updating you. See the last pictures form the states here on the blog.

Yeah, we will be in Hamburg the next days! If you have something that we should join, let us know. It could be everything, a party, a exhibition, a showroom, a kaffeklatsch, a shooting, we could do a shooting ourselves, whatever! We are hungry for some creative output. Perhaps we can work something out together. Just drop us an email or a comment. Watch out, we are around and party like hell. ;)

Now it is official. We tested a new camera for “Leica“. It is called “Leica V-Lux 20“. She has an integrated GPS function, which is a really nice feature. As you can see on the “microsite” she records the exact position of where we took those pictures. It is kind of funny. If we just changed the side of the street and you could afterwards see it on the map. If you zoom in the map, you will see it. That way you will be able to get the adresses of most of the stores that we visited. Small and nice camera. I took all the pictures from NYC with her. Does that answer your questions about the camera, “Fenke“? ;) More after the jump.

Ok, I’m hooked now. I never really liked Marc by Marc Jacobs. I don’t know why. For me it was this strange upperclass NYC Streetstyle Brand. The last days I passed the store at Bleecker Street a few times. My colleague was so hot about going there, so we went in. Everyone was really nice and friendly. Sometimes when I go in stores, especially streetwear-shops, I don’t feel really comfortable. The people that work in those store making feel bad somehow. A bit like: “You!? No you are not cool enough to wear something like this.” At the Marc by Marc Jacobs Store it was so the oposite and kind of hipster alert. ;) Funny, normally I would never have tried anything on, but there it was no problem. I’m so totally broke so I just bought a ring and a necklace. If I could, I would buy more. ;) What I also like is 25% of the money that they make in the store goes straight to a foundation called “Creativegrowth“, an art center that takes care for people with mental and physical disabilities. LIKE!!!! More after the jump.

It happend really fast. Someone called me and said that I have a flight in 3 hours. So I ran to my hotel, packed my stuff and drove to the airport. On my way I crossed “Carrie’s house”. :) I had a nice time, with nice people in one of the most amazing cities on earth. I will miss it. More after the jump.

I hope you are not so bored from all those pictures, because I’m lost in NYC. No way to fly back. So you gonna see a lot of pictures the next days ;) More photos after the jump.

I thought it would be exciting to see “OAK” that is just a few houses away from where I work as well as “Urban Outfitters“. And yes it was and of course I found something. But then something else happened. I was sitting at the set in an appartment and saw some really amazing shoes. Of course I looked at the shoes first but as I was staring for a while and then looked up, I saw straight into the face of Sarah Jessica Parker. I couldn’t take my eyes off of her. We were all in shock. Wenn das man nicht ein NYC-Erlebnis ist. Mehr NYC geht nicht, oder!? ;-) More photos after the jump.

It so good to be in NYC. The weather is nice and everyone is sooo friendly. Crazy situation with the volcano in Iceland. We passed it on the way here. I saw a nice movie, you need to see it. It’s called “Lovely Bones”. More photos after the jump.

…are going workwise to NYC tomorrow! Do you remember them? They were a “Today’s Favorite“. Anyway, so nice to go to NYC. Thank you Patrice to make this happen! I know that you are reading this right now. ;) If you all got some nice events that I should join or hot shops that I should visit, let me know. It would be nice to hear something from you. It’s been a while since I was in New York the last time…

We are proud to announce we are a part of the “Leica Travel Project“. Leica asked us to test one of their cameras and show the results on the “Microsite” or on our blog. They will update the website every day, so you have the chance to see more pictures of our trip there including the exact position on the map. We hope you enjoy it!

I could cry out loud but I won’t ’cause I am strong. Leaving Los Angeles felt really sad and this will definitely not be the last time. Inglewood was our home most of the time and in combination with Venice Beach, it really reminded us a lot of our home in Hamburg, the good old Reeperbahn district. I hope you all enjoyed following us! For those who already gave us their feedback, thanks for all the warm comments! We do appreciate it!
Philipp

It was fun to take pictures in L.A. Nice locations everywhere. We are back since a few hours and I’m starting to miss it. We had a lot to do on our last day, so I was wearing something more easy to like this nice “Motel Cardigan” and the “Urban Outfitters Jeans“.
(Cardigan – Motel, Shirt – Weekday, Jeans – Urban Outfitters, Shoes – Weekday, Glasses – Cheapo)

I know leo is not everyone’s taste, but I love it! No wonder that I fell in love with those “Jeffrey Campbell” limited editition pixie wedges. A few days ago, I searched the internet for a shop where I can find “Jeffrey Campbell Shoes” in L.A. After a while I gave up. As we walked around, we crossed the “LFStores“. I knew it before like the most of you, because their always so nice lookbooks. Anyway, they have a huge selection of shoes and those are one of my new ones. ;)

Today we survived our first earthquake. That was a kind of scary. First I was wondering why I felt bad from one second to the other, then I looked around and saw that everything was moving around me. Uhhhhh. Strange and nobody said anything because it is so normal in California. I’m wearing my new dress and jacket from “Forever 21“. Philipp hates the combi. ;) To much mixed pattern for him. Thank you all for the nice comments! We hope that you all have some nice easter days. We have a very good time here in LA and are kind of sad to leave it in a few… But there is one thing that we really look forward to, our third family member Nikita! Hell yeah, we miss her a lot!
