Stockholm Fashion Week – My Outfit Day III

Since I packed my bag so bad, I had to borrow something again. You might know this blouse from the streetstyle picture of Lina.
Because Nikita is staying at back home in germany I also took her dog ;)

Minimarket – Runway Show

Let’s say it like this: I was never a huge fan of Cleopatra stuff. Strange to see the collection like this, since I really liked it in Berlin.

Stockholm Streetstyle

You might have seen lovley Lina her before on our blog. I took a picture of her at the “Berlin Fashion Week” as well. She looked so great in her “Back blouse” and I totally love the “Back ring“. I also like the idea of the neon bra mixed with round sunglasses. Style clash!

A beautiful jumpsuit

Sometimes it is like it is. This really great looking nude and cute „One Teaspoon“ jumpsuit with the amazing chains on the backside (could use them for the arms as well) was hanging in our friends’ apartment where we had the pleasure to stay. So whenever I walked through the apartment I saw this beautiful piece hanging there. It looked so perfect!

Yeah it looked perfect, but for someone else to wear than me. Of course I would love to wear something like this, but it is also good to know what suits you and what does not. I’m sure that it looks great on our friend, soft, summery and just great. An item like this need someone who wears it in a perfect way. It definitely is one of the most beautiful pieces that I have seen recently.

Videoweek: RĂĽckreisetag

The last day of our video week. “RĂĽckreisetag” fits pretty well into our trip, huh?! ;-) Just got back to Hamburg, enjoying the thunderstorm cleaning our street from the weekends trash. See you soon, Stockholm!

Stockholm Day III

This city is just amazing. Where ever you go you see something good looking and made with love. You see that a person made up his/her mind and thought about how to arrange details. Even if it a small thing like arranging some flowers. I would love to see german people just adopt it in a way.

Stockholm Day II

The weather returned to us what we missed during winter last year, nice temperatures and sunshine! That’s the way how to enjoy great days in Stockholm. Really weird to be back. If you wonder why I wear the same t-shirt as during day one, it was all about saving luggage space. To me Stockholm is a t-shirt mecca, almost like Los Angeles. A quick stop at Monkey Bizz was successful and later on I could finally put on a fresh tee. ;-) And by the way, Sweden is really Chucks infected, everyone wears them. It’s really common to see groups of 6 to 10 people all wearing the same shoe. Individualism good bye, hello sheep! ;)

Stockholm Day I

First day back in Stockholm and it feels like we’ve never been away. It’s such a beautiful city in summer, everything looks so pretty. Today it’s time for some shopping and then enojoying the sun on some rock close to the water. Feels good to be back.

Videoweek: Kalter Schneetag

While enjoying the sun it’s not that hard to think about those beautiful snow days in Stockholm. Not far away from our second place in Stockholm on Ă–stermalm was Gärdet, the green heart of Stockholm. The music from Spike Lee’s movie “Where the Wild Things are” just fits perfectly. I reminisce like Pete Rock & CL Smooth.

Videoweek: Waschtag

We just realized that we have so many nice little videos we did last year that must not be forgotten. The result: a week dedicated to our videos. Here we go with the first one. Like the title says, it’s all about me and Nikita doing the laundry in our first flat in Stockholm on Kungsholmen. Enjoy!

The Power of Embracing Failure

A great campaign for this years final exhibition of my old school Berghs in Stockholm, “COULD HAVE, MIGHT HAVE, SHOULD HAVE.“. I guess we all know the aspects of this fear, some more and some less. Some dare to talk about it and some don’t. A great idea to let influential “creatives” from all over the world have their say about the topic. I guess it feels good to know that you’re not alone… ;-) Be sure to check out the exhibition May 26 – May 29. For more details and info about the current students check out the exhibition site. I really wonder why they didn’t embed the campaign videos to the site and only host them on the vimeo channel. Any ideas? Or was I too blind to find them? Some photos from last years exhibition here. Time passes far too fast.

Sandqvist Bags 2011

My own favorite bag is a “Sandqvist Bag” a brand from Stockholm. Now Sandqvist is giving us a small preview about the upcoming stuff for this year and I have to say that the backpack really is my type of bag. I totally like it that clean and functional. It comes in some great colors, but as usual I like black the most. ;) Let’s wait until they launch the rest of the collection. More pictures after the jump.

Sounds of Stockholm

Valerie Toumayan did a wonderful documentation about Stockholm for “I love Sweden“. It’s a great overview about the music scene in Sweden. Of course you see the girls of “Those dancing days” and “Peter Bjorn and John” who are a famous band in Sweden and produce for “Lykke Li“. Nice to see all those places. We lived pretty much around the corner where “Tobias Fröberg” is walking around and the parc where “Peter Moren” is playing was Nikitas favorite place. Schnief. This video brings back some really nice memories. Stockholm you are such a beautiful city with such a huge bunch of talented people. We miss you!

Our Year Part II of III

Back in Stockholm, summer started from one to the next moment. We were hanging around in the park in front of your house drinking way to expensive beer. I was working a lot but it was fun, because we had a great time at the shootings. In summer, this city is completly like another city. Everybody is relaxed and just wants to have a good time. Philipp finished his Interactive Communication Diploma at Berghs School of Communication. So good that he walked this way! I was still working a lot but in our spare time we were glad to be in this so beautiful country and we had some wonderful summerdays. We spend a lot of time with our friends. We also started to do our shootings for the blog. In the end, I don’t understand this decision no more, but we hired an appartment back in Hamburg. I was shocked in the first weeks. ;) Everything was different and we had to learn “the german way” again. It was great to see all the other bloggers from Hamburg at a Bloggermeeting.…

Our Year 2010 Part I of III

We had a really crazy year this year. If I’m looking back it was one of the wildest in my life. Because so much happend we splitted the 2010 overview in three parts. Here we go with the first 4 months. Let’s start with the most important things in these months. We moved the 3rd time in Stockholm into one of our favorite areas in Stockholm, Södermalm. On a little hill we found our new home and we certainly loved it. In Feburary we were at the Stockholm Fashion Week. It’s a pretty small Fashion Week but with some amazing brands like Minimarket, Acne, Odeur, Cheap Monday, ….I totaly fell in love with the Minimarket shoes and I still have an eye on them. Winter was hard and dark. I can’t remember a day without freezing. ;) So we decided to fly to L.A. What a amazing city. I really want to live there! The whole way of life is totaly what I’m looking for. It was completely different then all the clichees that you have in mind when you are thinking about L.A. L.A.…

Mikael Kangas Illustrations

It’s time to introduce a really talented fashion illustrator, friend and former colleage “Mikeal Kangas“. You might recognize him from some photos ;) He’s a really colorful person and perhaps that reflects in his illustrations. Everything is colorful and sometimes kind of surrealistic. What I like, is when he layers his stuff like on the first picture. But see for yourself and check out his works on his website. More after the jump.

Asos – I blame Coco

I blame Coco” on the cover of the Asos Magazine. No wonder, she has a fxxxx great style! I love everything about her. She is Stings daughter, but I don’t know jet if that is a good or bad sign. ;) Perhaps good! Must be in her genes. A good sign is that “Robyn” did a song with her called “Caesar”. You can see the release concert of Cocos new album with Robyn in Stockholm at “Bambuser“. Video after the jump.
