Stockholm besides Fashion Week

We didn’t make it to all the shows we wanted to go to. It was way more important to see our friends and have a good time. It’s fun to be with them. Also it’s nice to just hang around and get influenced be the nice Swedish way of living.

Nhu-Duong – Runway Show

I guess “Nhu-Duong’s” runway show was the most awaited one. She graduated 2008 at Beckmanns School of Design, started to do shows immediately, won a lot of design prizes and now lives in Berlin.

The most important reason why everyone was waiting for her show though was another one. She is the designer of “Elin Kling’s” brand nowmanifest.

I like the stuff of “Nhu-Duong” and it reminds me a bit of the 90′s. Those wide legs, the materials and the cuts. Next decade is on, welcome to the new late avant garde 90′s.

Carin Wester – Runway Show

As I came around the corner, one thing was for sure: Carin Wester was the designer with the best dressed crowd. A huge bunch of creatively dressed people were waiting in front of the tent. So I got really exited and the huge amount of people promised a great show. I didn’t get disappointed. Carin Wester had the best show that I saw in Stockholm. I loved the colors, fabrics and patterns in her women and men collection. Especialy the hats. Wow I need one! She also did some amazing shoes. After Minimarket was a bit disappointing, Carin Wester is really hooking me up.

Stockholm Fashion Week Impressions

The most inspiring point about Stockholm Fashion week are the people who are invited. Swedish people are always dressed up very well, but when it comes to fashion week, everyone is dressed up even more. But you know what? My favorite outfit actually comes from someone not from Sweden. It was Susie Bubble with her creative way to dress up. In this post, guess what she is wearing? ;) Ah may be it is to obvious who she is? ;)

Stockholm Streetstyle

I took a picture of “Lina” again. She’s the one who borrowed me all the nice items. This time she was wearing a “One Teaspoon” dress and an “Ann Sofie Back” coat.

Another Shirt Please – Presentation

Another Shirt Please” are 3 friends who decided just to focus on the perfect shirt. Sounds easy? Since I’m living with a shirt nerd I’m sure it isn’t. You need to think about the fabric, the right buttons, the right colour and of course the most important thing, the right fit. The 3 of “Another Shirt Please” are doing their job pretty well. Maybe because they worked at Acne before. I’m sure Philipp would like it as well.

Stockholm Fashion Week – My evening outfit

I went out for a presentation and to meet a good friend. Since I packed my bag really bad, I had to borrow this nice “Our Legacy shirt“. My friends told me that everyone would be jealous if I would wear it. It is a limit edition. And guess what, it was really like that. A lot of people came up and said: “Hej, nice shirt” ;)

Minimarket – Runway Show

Let’s say it like this: I was never a huge fan of Cleopatra stuff. Strange to see the collection like this, since I really liked it in Berlin.
