No sandal weather at all. So I changed my sandals into Clarks Desert Boots to resist the bad weather.

There are not so many things nicer than reviewing a new shoe collection on a sunday morning. I missed the last collection of “Whywho” from New Zealand. Shame on me. How could I forget a brand like this? I would wear every single pair of it. If you are tired of wearing Jeffrey Campbells’, this could be a nice and more feminim alternative.

Ok ok ok, it is so sure that we will all end up in wearing the 70′s stuff again. And you know what? I love it! The whole atmosphere of the “Jeffrey Campbell Lookbook Teaser” is totally transferring the mood as the “Wildfox Lookbook“. Such great outfits, nice colors and amazing shapes. If you ask me, I can’t wait, because it reminds me of the time when I was a kid. The 70′s are my favorite decade.

I thought it would be fun to have a new section called “Top 5″. It will be filled with nice, great looking items from one product group or around one theme. So here we go. Of course the first one will be shoes! ;) There we have the Won Hundreads that were discussed too often recently and the Acne moccasin with the colors splashes. I tried them on when we were in Stockholm but €300 for moccasins? No way. But at least they should be on my Top 5 list. What do you think? Are €300 too much for moccasins? I think the Opening Ceremony Platforms are a better investment.

As you may have noticed I have a little shoe fetish. When it comes to shoes, I’m totally freaking out. It doesn’t matter how high they are and how complicated it is to walk in them. One of my favorite shoe brands is “Jeffrey Campbell“. They always look a bit different than regular shoes and totally represent what I like. This season it’s crazy. I almost like every shoes that I saw on “Solestruck“. What I like most with “Jeffrey Campbell” is, once you know your size, you can just order them online. It’s always the same fitting. Now it is just hard to choose which one to buy.

A while go I had a funny and long discussion about the fact that a lot of swedish people wear really wasted and old shoes. ;) She hated it and I just love that style. Ever since we lived in Sweden I have to say that the shoes are perhaps not as old as you may think. The weather is just rougher and you walk a lot. I also have one of those white shoes being in a really bad shape that I bougt in NYC and which I loved to death. But now it is time to say goodbye and search for a new love. One of my favorites are the “Vans x A.P.C.’s“. I totaly like that they are sooo blank, clean and reduced. They could fill the hole in my shoe heart.

I never wrote about “Osborn“. Shame on me, because it’s really something that fits perfectly to me: individual shoe designs, unique and handmade. Osborns is not just a nice shoe label, they also work sweatshop free! The artistic way of presenting their stuff is just awesome! Kind of urban folk mixed with great ideas and well worked out designs. LIKE!

It was the first time that I entered an “Anthropologie” and I was surprised that I liked the store itself more than “Freepeople Store“. I totally love the Freepeople catalogs and picture material. But Anthropologie inspires me even more. Both belong to Urbn like “Urban Outfitters” does. All three have nearly the same concepts which different target groups. The Anthropologie target group is a bit older and more sophisticated then the others. Like Urban Outfitters and Freepeople, they got some nice shoes in their range!

It’s nearly impossible not to wear sandals this year. You see them everywhere. I chose these from “Forever21“. They are not that special but that’s good since I needed a pair of more regular shoes. I pimped them a bit with the socks. You can’t imagine how often someone said something about this combination. ;)

Of course we passed an “Urban Outfitters” and of course I loved the shoes I saw there. Especially the black sandals, but also the Osborns and Minimarkets are nice. See the last “UO shoe-love” from Hamburg aswell.

“Made Me” is one of those urban New York streetwear brands that stands for a more sophisticated kind of style. The special thing about Made Me is that it is just for the ladies! Erin Magee, founder of the brand, has been designing for a few years now. Most of the time you hear about “Made Me” and “Married to the Mob” in one breath. I already wrote about the Married to the Mob shoe, so now it is time for the collabo of Vans x Made Me. Erin Magee designed two pair for Vans, the Camryn Plus and the Wellesley Plus. I have to admit that I like the Camryn Plus (the one with the crosses) a bit more but see yourself what the designer has to say about the line.

Once in the city I decided to drop by at “Urban Outfitters” and ended up in a shoe dream. I totaly like the creepy Prada look-a-likes from “New Kids” that I have been following a while now. I can’t find their website though. Any ideas?

While everyone is looking at what’s happening at the Berlin Fashion Week, Bread & Butter, Bright,….. “H&M” is coming with a new designer collabo. This time it’s gonna be a shoes collabo with “Swedish Hasbeens“. Available April 20th in 150 stores wold wide. For a while now the brand from the 70′s is having a little revival. The shoes will cost 49,95€ – 59,95€. My favorite model is coming with laces, a structured surface and a light sole. We will see how good you can walk in them. ;)

White is the new camel. I read that in the german Glamour a few days ago. To be honest, that scares me a bit. Do you remember that I wrote that not everyone should wear white shoes, as I saw the the white Jeffrey Campbells in the latest lookbook? Forget that! Jeffrey Campbell is coming with a white collection and in the lookbook you will find some good examples on how to wear it. I totaly adore them! Go for it and wear white shoes! Today I’m wearing my new “Jeffrey Campbells” that I ordered a while ago. It’s great that they arrived since I’m still able to walk in them while snowing. ;) My other new favourite item is my Carl-Gustaf “Sandqvist Bag“. I’m carring it with me all the time. Tack Sambo! Oh, I love “Pendleton” and I really need one of those pairs of the collaboration with “Vans“. I saw them in different online store, but never in my size. If you see them, please let me know!

I love the style of the “Jeffrey Campbell” lookbooks and of course I’m a huge fan of his shoes! But allow me just one advice: not everyone should wear white high heels ;)

How to wear “Swedish Hasbeens” in winter? First option: You wear the boots. Second option: You wear them with socks. Third option: You invite all your friends and have an indoor party! That’s a kind of swedish humor. ;) They know how to handle cold winter….. I like the idea that the bride is wearing white Hasbeens!

This wishlist is about “Gargyle” from NYC. I’m in love with this for me so typical New York style. AND THE SHOES, they are from “New Kids”. I can’t find the website, because “googleing” for New Kid and shoes, you get 1000 results but not the right one. ;)

Shoes are my first love when it comes to clothing. Suprise! No, not really! ;) I love all kinds of Wedges, Boots, Sneakers, whatever. No wonder that I love the shoes of “Whywho” from New Zealand. Slim cuts and nice materials.
