You already know that one, Leslie was wearing it in a shooting. More photos after the jump.

As I retouched the pictures, I couldn’t decide if I like them in color or black and white. So I divided them in two parts. Part III of the shooting with “Anna-Maria of the Special“.
(Tight, Shirt, Pullover – Weekday, Hat – Monki)

Part II of the shooting with “Anna-Maria of the Special“. I really like them…. and they are in black and white. Not that normal for me.
(Tight, Shirt, Pullover – Weekday, Hat – Monki)

We both were a bit surprised when we entered the vernissage of Stefan Strumbel & Rüdiger Glatz at the Vicious Gallery yesterday. Both are kown for urban- and graffiti-art but as you can see, no urban art. ;) Perhaps St.Pauli red light district urban art …
A bit sad because I liked the photos of ruedione – Rüdiger Glatz.
It was nice to see that many people from others city came to see the vernissage. Meeting a few old friends unexpectedly was nice.
Mal sehen wie schnell die Musxxxi und Pimxxx Bilder gelöscht werden ;) More photos after the jump.

Sorry for posting so many pictures of this shooting with Leslie, but we there is such a huge bunch of good photos and it would be too sad if they would stay on my harddrive.
(Dress – Sparkle & Fade, Cardigan – Ecote , both via Urban Outfitters)

It’s not: “I stole my sister’s boyfriend. It was all whirlwind, heat, and flash. Within a week we killed my parents and hit the road…” (Sonic Youth)
Today it’s actually more like: I stole my boysfriends hat. It was all cosy, heat, and flash. ;) The best thing to wear for a sunday’s walk with the dog. More photos after the jump.

Here we go, the next part with Leslie.

Yes, it is Leslie ;) and she is wearing my favorite outfit that we ever had for a shooting.
(Coat – Hearts & Hands via Urban Outfitters, Blouse – Fred Perry, Hat – Weekday, Socks – Happy Socks, The rest Sevda Closet)

There was this nice poster which was following me everywhere. No information on what it is, just the name “Musswessels” on it and an address just around my corner. It took a while, but after a few weeks I passed the store. I was really surprised because I was expecting something else than a really good selected vintage store. From shoes to coats you find everything in a 1+ condition. The selection also includes also mens. If you are a vintage head you need to see the store.
NE, Anna ;)

We love shooting with Leslie, so we asked her again if she wanted join us. She is always on time, ambitious, funny and nice to hang around with. Sometimes people are wondering who does what, when we are shooting. I, Sevda, do the styling, hair and make-up and take the pictures. Philipp does the technique stuff, light and helps with his good taste. When it comes to concert-pictures, he is the man.
So this one was teamwork of Philipp, Leslie and me.

love wearing hats because I have a bad hair day every single day. ;) Since yesterday I got a few new darlings in my closet. Say welcome to hat number one! The next days the others will following. It’s time for hat season. My favorite time of the year! More photos after the jump.

Sorry, no time for blogging anything else then some picture of the last days. Busy with work and redesigning my new portfolio. But I’m almost ready, so the next days blogging will continue as usual.

The last part of Nina Carlsson from “Anc“.

More and more small galleries and exibitions are popping up in Hamburg. Just around our corner more than 6 galleries opened the last 2 years. Here are some nice examples how nice Hamburg is growing.
The first pictures were taken at the “Yeahboy” exibition of the french photographer “Yves Drillet” and the secound pitures are at the “Raum linksrechts“. An artist from Cologne called “leBeat-André Kniepkamp” is showing his stuff.

Red Carpet events are not the regular events that we are going to. Also, we are not really in car pimping and car racing. But anyway we went to the “Gumball 3000“. This was the reason: EVE! She is one of my alltime favorite rappers. Stuff like: Love Is Blind (featuring Faith Evans) and Who’s that Girls songs that I will love forever! Perhaps you also know her as an actor. “Barber Shop” and “Good Hair” are movies that you need to see, if you like her. Specially “Good Hair” from Chris Rock, a documentation about black womans hair. Really funny. But back again to the event. It was one of those events where you start talking to strangers in the restrooms and become good friends. ;) Eve was playing a couple of songs. It was really nice and we had a really good time with some old friends. A great location at the habour and some funny moments, a lot of VIP that I don’t know, since we lived abroad. Rock’n'Roll, Hamburg! Sorry for the bad pictures, I just smuggled a small camera with me. ;)

11 artists. 7 floors. 147 steps. 11 arts. In 2009 the “Stilwerk” asked 11 Street Artists of the Vicious Gallery to paint their staircase. The list of artists couldn’t be nicer: Sozyone, KR from New York, Flying Förtress, Sebastian Freimauer, Mr. Nonski, Form 76, Golden Green, 1010, Nils Kasiske, Milk and Felix Schlüter. Now they are releasing a book about this project. Every artist resonsible for one chapter of the book. Of course, the “Vicious Gallery” is showing some peaces of those artists on the releasedate, october 7th.

I have a really strange problem with black and white pictures. I love them, BUT for other peoples photos. When I’m doing it, I kind of miss the colors. ;) That’s the reason why you do not see it that often on our blog. For these pictures though, I think it works really well. It’s the secound part of the shooting with Nina Carlsson from “Anc“. We had not that much time, so we just went down to the habour which I always like.
(Polo Shirt – Fred Perry, Jacket – Fred Perry, Skirt – Urban Outfitters)

A little art and illustration for Hamburg. Yesterday the “Pictoplasma Conference” made a stop in Hamburg with a lot of speakers and some movies to bring us closer to character-design. With lectures and presentations from different artists like “Siggi Eggertsson” known for the Gnarls Barkley Cover, “Rilla Alexander of Rinzen” who just finished her first book and superhero “Akinori Oishi” from Japan, who was funny as hell. We got a nice overview of the scence at the moment. They are going on tour and you should really visit if it’s in your area. They will be in Munic, Dundee, NYC and Düsseldorf.

Perhaps you recognize her face. It’s Nina from “Anc“. We shot her before as a New Face, which she isn’t anymore though. I totally like her.
(Dress – Fred Perry, Socks – Happy Socks, Glasses – Cazal Vintage via Yeahboy)

Today was not as usual. Today, I was one of the models. ;) Funny, but I prefer to be behind the camera. ;)

Last thursday a friend of us from Berlin had a show at Knust here in Hamburg. For those of you who don’t know Prinz Pi formerly known as Prinz Porno, better check out his website. A new album is coming up shortly and absolutely not your average hip-hop stuff. And while you’re at it, check out the projects section on the site. There you’ll also find out about his graphic and humanitarian stuff. Well worth a visit. Greetz to Berlin!
Philipp
I would love to win this compition at “Talenthouse“! The price will be a shooting in L.A. or NYC for a magazine. Would be so great if you would vote for me. ;)
Perhaps you also find a challenge for you like the Nine West or Florence and the Machine stuff. Both are Fashion competions and have some nice prices. BUT please, don’t forget to vote! ;). It’s really easy. Just login to facebook and click this link. Thank you!

Here some unsorted material. It’s really hard to pick the pictures. Sometime it’s more a matter of how they fit together. It’s so sad if you like a picture but there is no change to squeeze it in. Here are some of thoese.

Part III of Leslie in this amazing “Acne” silk dress. Since a while I’m thinking about buying it.
