It’s such a pleasure to be one of the latest Monkigirls in the Freezing Issue. During our time in Stockholm I was freezing a lot but at the same time I had some magic moments with the northern light. Read the magazine online.

Last weekend we met super talented Alica to shoot with her. She is completely new in this area and did a great job. We loved her face and her talent. She instinctively did it the right way.
Her modern look is just amazing. Can’t wait to see more of her and her progress.

I already shared my love for the neon trend like TV showed it in their Lookbook for AW 2010. When I saw this shirt, it was absolutly clear to me that I had to buy it. ;) I also bought the suit that I saw on the Monki website before. I love the front and it’s asymmetric cut and the color of it.

I try to resist a bit and not jump in my black clothes again after L.A. On sunday it was the best chance to prove it while the sun was shining. Hopefully the color will stay for a while. ;) Like the sunshine! It makes things a lot easier.

Just a few quick impressions of the launch party of the new “Monki Magazine issue” which is totally adorable. I’m in love with the illustrations and the editorial. We had a great time with some drinks and balloons at the store in Hamburg. A few international “Modelwerk models” I spotted on the party as well, who are shooting in Hamburg this week. I also did some streetstyle photos which are coming next week.…

I know that a huge bunch of you guys already know it, but I really like the idea of it. “Monki” is coming with an online tv-format streaming on the Monki website, Vimeo and Youtube. Each monday a new Monki TV-clip will be released. Tomorrow the first episode will be with cute “Susie Bubble“. Who else would fit better into that format with her vision of styling and ideas to combine stuff? I can’t wait to see how she will be styling. I’m wondering who is gonna be the next one. So good that we have a “Monki Store” in Hamburg. I always find something there. During sale time it so nice to shop there! In Stockholm it was one of my favorite stores during sale. You can buy a bag full of stuff and never pay more than 100 EUR. This dress was 15 EUR!

“Anna” and I were at the “Monki Magazine Party“. But where was the party? Sometimes it matters more with who you are, instead where you are. ;) We had a good time anyway. But next time Monki, please give your guests something to drink like in Stockholm, ok!?
Swedish “Monki” that belongs to “H&M” is coming with an update of their really cute “Spring Lookbook” from earlier this year. I still like the whole idea, the styling and the collection but I’m kind of disappointed. Normaly “Monki” always comes up with a new nice idea for each season. Kind of sad that they just updated the old one. But I think to top both the lookbook from spring and summer is a really hard job and perhaps needs to be prepard really well. We will see what they will come up with in autum. Until then, I will have a look at this really nice one.
