What Switzerland usually stand for is the alpes, chocolate and good design. Ok I couldn’t find chocolate in the lookbooks of “Atreebutes” but some really good design though. About three years ago the two pro-snowboarders Nicolas Müller (Nike) and Frederik Kalbermatten (Burton) decided to develop a brand that is more than just clothes. One of their main goals was to combine great design, love for details, nice fabrics and sustainability.
In their opinon sustainability contains more than just ecological standards and a healthy environment. It’s also about awareness and appreciation of what you do and what you buy. I’d like quote from their website: “We put a lot of effort into the workmanship of our clothes to make our stuff last longer. The equation is simple: if you buy a good t-shirt that lasts twice as long as a bad one, you only have to shop half as often and throw away 50% less.”
Great philosophy and I think you really see it in each and every single item. Read more about it online on their website.
