Mallorca impressions
We travelled so much recently so we thought it might be a good idea to do our vacation on Mallorca. Yeah right, Mallorca. One and the most important reasons was that we could take little Nikita with us. The short flight of just 2,5 hours was easy for her since she could be with us in the cabin. The first day we just settled down at our first host. Our plan was to book all our places via airbnb and travel around by car. So there really was no plan. ;-)

PS: Yes I also recognized it: I always wear the same dress when I’m doing a picture with a bag ;) It’s my favorite dress and may be it needs a bit of glam after all the years that we spent together. ;)

Stockholm Fashion Week Show Reviews
The ones following us on Instagram, know that we are on holiday at the moment. But never the less a little review about the shows that I visited at Stockholm Fashion Week. I had the chance to visit shows like Ida Sjöstedt, Josefina Larsson, J.Lindeberg, Filippa k, Cheap Monday, The Local Firm, Diana Orving, Nhu Duong and Stylein. Overall it was inspiring and great to see so many different shows and diversity of styles. I love Nhu Doung and her futuristic style and I was surprise how much I liked the J.Lindeberg show. Swedish fashion is always about perfection. That was totally what Diana Orving stands for. Her dresses are perfectly tailored and outstanding perfection in its own way.

Küchenplatte #5 Impressions
Last sunday we resurrected the Kuchenplatte Hamburg after a two years pause. It was a great sunday afternoon! The record selection was great, the Kuchen delicious and the weather just right. Stockholm Fashion Week – Cheap Monday SS2013
Cheap Monday is known for it’s great venues at Stockholm Fashion Week. So no wonder they chose this great skatepark as the location for their show. Also the whole presentation was really well prepared and the hair&make-up was great. The whole 90′s grunge thing was on it’s point. After looking twice I recognized Frida Gustavsson. Over all it was a great show but the collection wasn’t. Sad, because in the end that’s what really matters. It was a bit too 90′s to me. See us and many more on Rodeo.

MoMa PS1 and Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings
PARTY! There is no better place to go out than NYC. Even for us who are not really in party fever all the time. We totally like the concept of PS1 which no belongs to the MoMa. On a daytime party, great international acts like Floating Point play in the heart of Queens in the huge backyard of the PS1 building. While partying you are also able to visit the whole museum with a great exhibitions of young artists. The crowd is wild and consists of a great mix of people who are simply interested in parting and/or art.
Just a few blocks away from the place we stayed at in Williamsburg Park was this great open air area with tons of great concerts. We visited Sharon Jones and The Dap-Kings for free(!). Simply a great idea on how to use the waterfront area of Williamsburg to make sure that there still is free access to the Williamsburg Waterfront and the area stays alive.
PS: The night before, Jane’s Addiction and Die Antwoord had a gig there.
