The ampal creative caps

I’m still searching for the right cap. On the top of my wishlist you will find two of the fabulous “Ampal Creative” caps. Of course, for me it could be a bit louder and colourful. Philipp prefers the rather calm ones ;) Does anyone know where to get them in Europe?

Wishlist Stockholm

We’ll be in Stockholm the next days. So of course I prepared a little wishlist with your typical Scandinavian labels like Acne, Caren Wester, Wood Wood, Sandqvist & Cheap Monday. After all, I must not to get lost in the Stockholm fashion jungle. ;) Tons of shoes, bags and summerdresses will have to get tested as well. Kind of funny because it’s about 4 degrees in Stockholm at the moment. Who cares….. Summer will be back pretty soon.

Thailand impressions part V

Once we arrived in Bangkok, we met the white rabbit, went through thousands of malls, didn’t have a dental surgery, had a Mos Burger, saw a lot of cats, searched for Little India, …. The list goes on and on. We had a great time!

Thailand Impressions Part IV

Even in Thailand the climate changes. When it’s usually sunny for weeks, we had some bad weather coming up in the south. So we decided to spend our last days in Bangkok and do some cultural activities. We visited Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha) which was impressive because it isn’t just a tourist attraction but still in use. A really inspiring place.

Hamburg impressions

Some pictures from my way to work. Spring is coming back. Such a great feeling and I can’t wait to be outdoor again. It’s funny that every year it feels almost the same: winter was too long and I can’t really remember what summer feels like.

Thailand impressions part III

I don’t know why but like last time in NYC for some spooky reason we always end up in Yoga Places. We found a really cozy and beautiful place where we stayed for four days. In a great atmosphere we spent our last days on the seaside.

Spotted: Bread & Butter Magazine

I totally forgot that we were asked to contribute with some streetstyle pictures of us for the Bread & Butter Magazine that was published during the trade show. Until a friend reminded me that he saw us, I was not really thinking about the publication. I think the result of the trend-forecast is pretty nice.

Me with the NDR – Das! Team

Last thursday the NDR (German TV Channel) camera team followed me for a couple of hours to see how I work on the blog. They catched me at work, we went shopping and also did a quick street style picture. It was fun. I was also quite happy with the result. It is always strange to see yourself and hear your own voice. ;)

Just hanging around. Perfect to wear sneakers and jeans. I’m not really a jeans girls, but if it comes to jeans I like it simple and clean like these Lee Jeans. Time to get into my customized Vans. After being a bit jealous about Philipp’s Vans, I got my own ;) Thanks Vans Team!

Perfect haircare

A while ago I asked for the “perfect haircare” because I wasn’t really pleased with mine. A bunch of people answered my call for help. One brand was recommended a few times so here I am with a new brand, Aveda. I chose the clove line which was made especially for natural brunettes. As pre-styling tool to protect my hair I chose the brilliant damage control spray and as finish the brilliant emollient finishing gloss.
Thanks for your help. I really like these products.

Thailand impressions part II

That wasn’t our first trip to Thailand so like we always do when on vacation we decided just to travel around and stop by were we liked.
Most of the time we stayed for 2 or 3 days until we hit the road, ehhh boat ;) again. By accident we ended up at one of the most known places for climbing, Tonsai Beach. Whenever you looked up the rocks you saw someone hanging there. Crazy.

Flea market impressions

On sunday we had a little flea market with some of our good friends Anna and Katha. Some other bloggers from Hamburg joined the flea market as well. People like Anouk, Kathrin, Sophia, Juliane, Ricarda, Alexandra and Chrissi rocked the house. Also a thank you goes out to frontlineshop, Blonde, Couch Magazine, Vitaminwater and the das Lokal Team for their support.
It was fun to be surrounded by those people and we had a really good time. Some more picture at kabutaram.

Weekend impressions

Anna, Philipp and I followed up two invitations last weekend. One was the Sony Walkman launch presentation with a panel talk about favorite songs with Frank Spilker (Die Sterne), Tom Hessler (Fotos) and one Intro guy (can’t remember his name). After the session we also joined the Intro birthday event “100 DJ’s”. It was really fun because 100 different DJs were just playing 1 song each! It was such a great line up with a lot of old friends. Great event.

In love with Ilva Heitmann

I’m thinking about renaming this section ;) Maybe the name “Sevda in love with redheads” fits better. But the photos of Ilva Heitmann definitely are some of my favorites. Her strong and different look, her intense eyecontact and her “non posing” is modern as hell. I would love to see more photos like this in Germany.

Urban Outfitters features First Aid Kid

What I like about Urban Outfitters is their love to freature young talents like designers, artists and musicians. Also their way of doing it is always a creative one. The latest lucky ones are “First Aid Kid” from Sweden. A nice way to present an interview including great pictures with the typical UO styling. Have a look here on the “UO Website“. Sometimes the easiest way is the best way indeed.

In love with Beegee Margenyte

At work I need to review a lot of models at the moment. No wonder that my eyes were stuck on Beegee Margenyte at Supreme Management. She worked for clients like MIH, Topshop, Bull & Bear and I love Fake. I love her look and pictures. She got something really special and you remember her longer than just a while. That’s what clients want, beautiful girls with charisma ;)

Acne Vest or a little homage to This is Jane Wayne

This post is dedicated to “This is Jane Wayne“, two blogger colleagues and their article about why/how bloggers can afford designer clothes.

I can just answer it for myself:
I’m working fulltime, blogging is just a hobby. I don’t have a car because I prefer carsharing or riding my bike. I don’t smoke no more and I’m not really a party person. Philipp and I share an apartment. I like buying designer stuff instead of tons of retailer items ;)

What I do is just buying classic and no trend items. And I love sale! I bought the this vest on sale and I know I will wear it for a long long time and I’ll be able to combine it really well.
That’s the secret how I can afford it…

It’s more a question of prioritization.
