Amsterdam Impressions Part II

Water brings so much lifestyle quality. We love to spend summertime in cities like Amsterdam and Stockholm. So great to just sit on the waterside and do some daytime drinking ;) Amsterdam is also known for great architecture. Have a look here. Would be nice to see this kind of architecture in Hamburg.…

Amsterdam Impressions

We lived pretty close to Amsterdam a few years ago. On the weekends we spent our sparetime so often on the seaside. It was great to visit our friend “Anna” in Amsterdam and just hang around. Luckily the weather turned into bright summer sunshine. We took the bikes to a place called Wijk ann Zee. It seemed like every single person in Holland had the same idea ;) It’s was nice anyway.…

BLANKOF Spring/Summer 2012

BLANKOF, another asian accessories brand that perfectly suits my taste. I really like the latest lookbook combining location shots with studio shot in a nice collage style. My favorite is definitely the Sling Bag. I got one question though: Will it fit my ipad? ;-)

Herschel Rucksack

I am totally the backpack kind of person, so no wonder that that my old North Face Backpack has been with me quite daily for about three years now. It was time for something new so I got a really nice present from Los Angeles, the Herschel Survey. I really love the shape and high quality build. Check our post about the Herschel Lookbook here.

Back to MAC

A while ago I found out about the Back to MAC program. Exchange six old MAC products and get a Lipstick for free at any MAC store. This weekend I had the chance to try it out and it really worked. Great project to get customers back to the store and recycle the old packages.…

SENSE Mag Supreme Editorial

I found a really nice editorial from japanese SENSE Mag via Hypebeast. It features Supreme and Leo Fitzpatrick. In case you think he looks familiar, I am pretty sure it is because of his role in the classic movie “Kids” that definitely was and still is an authentic manifest for a whole generation. Check this Google link for more info about Leo. Getting back to the editorial, I really think this is a perfect combination of brand and ambassador brought together in an authentic setting. Simple and plain.

Weekend – Time for magazines

I totally hate this print vs. online thing, because I like both medias for different reasons. Online is such a fast but sometimes limited. With the new generation of magazines on good way though. I love print for the great artwork and lovely photos. On weekends I try to read the latest publications. Here are my favorite magazines from the weekend Interview (DE), Metal (UK), Jalouse (FR) and Fallen (AU). If you never heard about the Fallen Magazine you need to hold it in your own hands! Such a great magazine. Take a sneak preview on their website. I’m in love because of great photos spreads.…

LIBERTY X NIKE SPORTSWEAR

For a while now I have been searching for the right sneaker. During shootings it’s nice, if not obligatory to have some comfortable shoes. Standing on your feet for more than 8 hours can be quite hard. I was happy to see the Liberty x Nike line. I fell in love with the pattern at the very first sight. They are really limited, so I was happy to see them at “frontlineshop“.

Searching for the perfect tea

On a day off I do like to test and try all kind of different teas from allover the world and now I have finally found a brand I might stick to a while. Ass Savers

I love my bike but I’ll have to admit that it can be a bit unpractical from time to time, especially when it’s raining or still wet on the floor. Then riding my single speed can be a pain in the ass and get you all soaked up. Still I like it minimalistic so putting on anything permanent is not an option. Apparently I am not the only one with that problem so some clever Swedes came up with the Ass-Saver. A small piece of plastic that you can fold and store in your saddle and apply only when needed. A great piece of invention. Check out the introduction video after the jump.

WESC x Smart

“Ding Dong.”
“Oh Postman.”
“Come in, PR packages are always welcome.”
We do not post everything that PR agencies send us but this one is worth it. We like if there is a content related story behind a theme. This one is a really positive example of Wesc x Smart collabo. It’s about a tuned Smart, the headphones and the city. I filled out a form without knowing what it was all about. A few days later I got this package. So, apparently I’m a Paris type of person and got all this Paris related stuff.
The best would be to send us to Paris as well! ;) To explore it by ourselves …. That would really round up the idea the most. ;)
ps. Not seen in the picture: Macaroons. They have already been eaten. Delicious!…

Berlin impressions III

Tegel: It’s just a ten minute train ride from Prenzlauer Berg and once you pass the area between train-station and “stuck in the 80′s retiree coffee houses” just by the lake, you’ll find a nice wood for long walks with no people around at all. Wildschweine and Bambis included. PROST!
