Me in the latest Monki Magazine

1kl
It’s such a pleasure to be one of the latest Monkigirls in the Freezing Issue. During our time in Stockholm I was freezing a lot but at the same time I had some magic moments with the northern light. Read the magazine online.

Berlin Baby

It has gotten a little quiet here the last weeks because I moved to Berlin and had so much to do. Finding an appartement, starting a new job and so many other things were first in line. After all my friends moved to Berlin it got a bit boring in Hamburg, so I decided to spread my wings. I’ll try to keep you updated and of course you are welcome to get to know Berlin from my perspective. Of course I will be in Hamburg as well.…

Mikas Looks – Hair & Make Up

A great picture is more than a great model and a fabulous photographer. It’s also about Hair & Make up. To me the perfect make up is a really fresh basic. It’s about the perfect teint and working out the shapes of a face. Swedish artists set a really high standard in that area. See the best at “Mika’s Looks“. I love the people they represent, especially Kajsa Svanberg.…

Libertine Libertine Lookbook

These screens from the Libertine Libertine lookbook have been bookmarked a while now, but I still want to share them with you. The style and garment really reminds me of the classic golden era hip hop, but newly interpreted with fresh cuts and heritage pieces. Love it!

A Henrik Vibskov Documentary

I am really picky with stuff I like and stores I walk into. Much of the stuff out there just provides too many reasons to hate from different perspectives. Henrik Visbskov definitely is not one of them and I really like his design, whole approach and the overall mindset. Even the stores are always well worth a visit, both from a goods perspective as well as providing sort of a well being when entering as a customer. I think this documentation transports all this very well and is worth to have a look at.

What’s in your bag, traveller?

I Am Packed” is a really nice project by Air New Zealand. The airline provides a plattform for a trend that has been growing quite a while now and used throughout many aspects of media. The project “Things organized neatly” by Austin Radcliff sums it up really well from an artistic point of view and is definitely worth looking at. Here though it is strictly within the context of Air New Zealands product without putting to much effort on branding the plattform and therefore able to keep its legitimate soul, the interest and personality of each user. Check out the “What’s in your bag? – group” on flickr to get a feel for the dimension. People just love looking at other peoples things. Me to. ;-) In the end this is a great example of a small but very relevant solution that brands can and have to come up with when managers and advertisers talk about “engaging with your target group”.
