Of course we passed an “Urban Outfitters” and of course I loved the shoes I saw there. Especially the black sandals, but also the Osborns and Minimarkets are nice. See the last “UO shoe-love” from Hamburg aswell.…

The nailpolish god must be living in the states. Nice nailpolish everywhere and for a nailpolish freak like me it is hard to resist. ;) As I passed those colors from Essie, Sew Psyched and Sand Tropez, there was no way around. We will see how many more colors will find the way back to Hamburg.…

It’s pretty cold in L.A. for this time of the year. BUT who cares ;) Everything is better than the weather back in Hamburg.

Yesterday we took a ride to Echo Park close to the Dodger Stadium and checked out the district we earlier just passed by accident. It was really relaxed with a lot of nice cafes, stores and restaurants. We would have never thought we’d find a place like this so close to downtown. Sevda says it reminds her of Williamsburg “in the beginning”. Ein großes “HALLO” auch an Oma Else! ;-) Uns geht es gut! I guess today we will check out Long Beach and check out the seals in Seal Beach. Thanks everyone for the tips and thanks to the Mishka Store for having us! PROST!

I absolutely love the clean everyday styles from “Weekday“. The new colorrange is just perfect and I love the new accessoires. The brush necklace reminds me of Questlove ;) and the nail necklace is great! What I like the most about Weekday is that everything is easy to combine. It is nearly impossible to combine it wrong if you don’t mix it with other brands.…

I just received a package from the T-Post Magazine this morning. I really love the concept of subscribing to a t-shirt. The newspaper aspect is printed on the inside and the front-print features a different designer every month. Mine is from December 09 and designed by Jessica Eriksson. This one not really being my taste, but I guess that’s part of the game and makes it interesting. You never know what you gonna get. A really love the other designs. A nice alternative/addition to many overpriced brand tees!

Evers since we started doing shootings like these for our blog, we wanted to do photos like this. But it is never easy to find the right stylings… The more I’m really really happy about the pictures, styling and hair & make up.

“Made Me” is one of those urban New York streetwear brands that stands for a more sophisticated kind of style. The special thing about Made Me is that it is just for the ladies! Erin Magee, founder of the brand, has been designing for a few years now. Most of the time you hear about “Made Me” and “Married to the Mob” in one breath. I already wrote about the Married to the Mob shoe, so now it is time for the collabo of Vans x Made Me. Erin Magee designed two pair for Vans, the Camryn Plus and the Wellesley Plus. I have to admit that I like the Camryn Plus (the one with the crosses) a bit more but see yourself what the designer has to say about the line.

We had a great sunday with the really talented new face “Klara. She is wearing the H&M stuff that I picked in the showroom last week. I totally love the jacket from the Glamour Collection. What you don’t see though is how heavy it is. ;)
PS: I hate flickr and WordPress for reducing the photo quality so bad! ;(
The nice afro was done by Hair & Make Up Artist “Julia Sieckmann“.

Happy valentine everyone! Hoping that you are eating tons of chocolate today!

I will have to admit that my first contact with Lifetime Collective from Canada was at the Bright Tradeshow in Berlin this January. While almost all so called “streetwear brands” do not really differentiate, Lifetime Collective stood out among the other brands. Definitely targeting a more mature audience, they deliver a nice urban heritage style for both women and men within a huge collection. Dope stuff!

Last year nearly at the same time, we escaped to L.A. We are so sick of the bad bad gray weather in Hamburg. ;) This year we will do the same to get some sun and lifestyle explosion. So if you have some nice tips of places, concerts, stores or whatever that we need to see, please let us know!!!! We would love to see the places that you like most.
EDIT: Crazy, it’s Oscar time while we are there!…

Once in the city I decided to drop by at “Urban Outfitters” and ended up in a shoe dream. I totaly like the creepy Prada look-a-likes from “New Kids” that I have been following a while now. I can’t find their website though. Any ideas?

Today, while preparing the next shooting, I could get a nice overview of the next “H&M” collections like the Conscious-, Glamour- and Inclusive Collection that offers up to size 54. I was pretty impressed about the huge range from ecofriendly over figurefriedly to a really proper, polish grown up Glamour-Collection. You will not get to see my favorites items though. ;) So stay tuned and see what I picked for the shooting.

No, that’s no “t.b.a.” wishlist, because of the front picture ;). Actually it’s a “Asos wishlist“. Good to know that they are offering “Nars” since it is not available in germany anymore, because Nars creme blush is the best one!
