Our last date for Berlin was the book release of “Les Mads – Modestrecke“. The store was totally packed and some of the great illustrations of the book where hanging around. Everyone was really exited to hear what Les Mads were to talk about in the panel. Les Mads are the most present bloggers in Germany and opened so many doors for the whole blogger scene over here. It’s great to see how they are doing their thing in their own way. I was surprise when I heard that they wrote a book about all the litte sidestory’s. It’s a great idea because the reading will give you a deeper insight about their experience. For me that’s one of the major differences between blogging and journalism. Blogging is all about how a person is seeing the stuff trough their own eyes, a subjective point of view. I think a lot of people will read this book just to understand how young people work. Another bunch of people will read this book because they are interested in the more detailed inside-stories and some will read it simply for the joy of reading it. But in the end it’s just great to have people like Jessica Weiss and Julia Knolle who opened a door for a lot of bloggers. Thank you both and we wish you all the best for your book.
I have apologize for taking no pictures. A flu hit me really hard and I had to leave a room after a while. See more pictures at “Les Mads“.
