Swedish pop superstar “Robyn” has a new video called “Dancing on my own”. I kind of like it. It is real pop and it is still in my mind. AND how good she is looking in the “Alexander Wang Dress“. Makes me wanna have it! ;) She is the Headliner of the “Popaganda-Festival” in Stockholm this year. Can’t wait to see her.

Yesterday it was time for some sneaker-swapping at Nalen in Stockholm. A great initiative of Caliroots to get some rotation in this game and mix up the professionals with all the addicts and lovers. Great stuff all the way and really hard to resist!
School is out for summer! So we went to Philipps school yesterday to see his final exibition at “Berghs School of Communication“. Now you can hire him offical as a Digital Strategic Planner, yeah! If you are in Stockholm, you have the chance to see the whole exhibition until tomorrow. Don’t try the drinks. We all look really destroyed, so there must be something with the drinks. Whoa, we all look really shitty. ;)
Those days you see the the new “American Apparel” pictures in every blog and it is time to pick up the discussion again. Philipp and I also had really wild talkings about the former campaigns. He really liked them and I really hate them. He likes it because of the look and attitude of the pictures and the strategy to build the brand. I hate them for the easy way of promoting something. It is so easy to provoke with their pictures. It is really too easy! Everyone can do that, just hold your ass into a camera and take a picture and write something with Helvetica. Sorry, for me, that does not work. Some people compare it to the “Vice-Picture” but for me, there is a huge different. Of course “Vice” is having the same asthetic feeling but they are not trying to sell anything and there is always a story behind the picutres. I’m happy to see that “American Apparel” is changing the look of the brand now! It is hooking me up and makes me wanna buy something. That’s kind of smart, because the stuff is kind of…

We were out having a few beers at Caliroots. Shitxfaced launched a new colorway of their decks and celebrated it with a photo-exhibition with photos of Fredrik Skogkvist following the crew for 24 hours. Thanks for a nice evening and a slight hangover!

Yeah, the last days summer started even in Stockholm!!! You cannot imagine how happy I am about it. So new summer stuff is needed. As bright and mixed pattern as possible, please. From 0 to 100 and I hope some really summer patterns will help me. Like a this stuff from “Topshop“. I hope you are not getting blind while looking at it. ;)
The Checkered-Brothers, Miss Acne and I spent some time in the city to get some things from the “Fashion against Aids” stuff. It was totally funny. Did you also find something? :)

Look at the helmet, boah so cool! It was in a window in one of the kids rooms. I was wondering the whole time what it could be and did not realize it was a helmet. So fxxxking cool. The swedish houses looking so good. Swedish people eat the style when it comes to interior. And I love the “Lillebror” cushion. Lillebror means “little brother” and two boys are live in that house. Cute. I have to steal the idea with the bunch of lamps. The light of the bunch was so cosy. Let’s copy this one.
I totally fell in love with this black and white dress. It is a “Minna Dress” that is a label from England and coming in AW2010. I LOVE IT!

We are planning a few photo-projects the next weeks and months and are searching for you and your friends for being our models. It’s nice if you have modelsizes but it is definitely not a must. We are looking into different kind of people, faces and bodytypes. Age doesn’t matter. If you are a make-up artist or stylist, feel free to write as well. All you need is to be in Hamburg or Stockholm the next weeks. We can’t pay you, but we sure can offer you a great time and the pictures that we shoot. I have to say that I’m not really an “Acne-Lover“, but from time to time I fall in love with some items. This upcoming winter it could be that I’m in love with some things that they show in their “Pre-Autum Winter Lookbook 2010“. I love the hat and the jumpsuit and the contrast in the outfits. Soft fabrics next to warm and rough stuff. I love that you just see a bit of the gorgeous shoes under the long dresses. “Acne”
Swedish “Monki” that belongs to “H&M” is coming with an update of their really cute “Spring Lookbook” from earlier this year. I still like the whole idea, the styling and the collection but I’m kind of disappointed. Normaly “Monki” always comes up with a new nice idea for each season. Kind of sad that they just updated the old one. But I think to top both the lookbook from spring and summer is a really hard job and perhaps needs to be prepard really well. We will see what they will come up with in autum. Until then, I will have a look at this really nice one.
After this really hard winter we are all happy about the first warm sunshine. So we spent some time in the park in front of our house. NICE!

This time the stuff from the wishlist comes from a vintage store called “Ramona West“. It’s a really well sorted online-shop that also has a nice “blog“. Tzzzzz, Nikita and I had a party of our own today. Yes just us both and it was nice. The boy got something else to do. So it was Nikita, me, the new”Underground-Shoes” and the new “Cos-Skirt“. It was a bit like those kidspartys where you are playing on our own…..

If someone asked me, what the most important german street- and skateboard-label is at the moment, I would definitely say “Cleptomanicx” from Hamburg. Of course we dropped in at their showroom to have a look at their upcoming stuff during our stay in Hamburg. No need to say that we, as people from Hamburg, love their stuff. Especially the Hamburg illustration, that will come as a ladies and guy version. Funny how a brand can connect people. During our stay in California we met a girl wearing a seagull-tee as we passed by with our toast- and lemon-towel, that all three are synonymous with the brand. It was totally natural to exchange a “Moin, Moin!”. “Cleptomanicx” made the world a bit more connected and local. Not just in the matter of geography, but everything else that “Cleptomanicx” stands for. ;-)
“H&M” is launching the “Fashion against Aids Collection” on the May, 20th. For all the Hamburg people this is the chance to get something from this nice collection as this is a pre-shopping event. And how can you test a festival collection better than at an outdoor-location with drinks, food and good music? In Hamburg this event will be at Strand Pauli. So it will be the best place to test the nice rain-poncho. ;) Hihi ok, I hope the sun will shine because it is a really nice location and perhaps you can stay overnight in a sooo fucking cool tent! Hurry up to get your name on the guestlist for Hamburg and Berlin. You need to be over 18, because they serve drinks, food and good music. All you need to do is send an email. One of my favorites labels is “Stolen Girlfriens Club” from New Zealand. Normally I don’t post pictures from Fashion Shows where I haven’t been on my own, but rules are there to break. ;) As I got an email with those pictures this morning I totally freaked out ;) I saw some of the items yesterday at “Les Mads” and was in love in a second. “Stolen Girlfriens Club” for me stands for edgy, cool, street kind of grunge kind of super something! YEAH, LOVE LOVE LOVE. The last collections here and here.
I can’t really say how many beers and jägermeisters were involved in this evening, but what I can say is: If you would see all the pictures you would recognize that everyone makes the same face over and over again. ;)
Hamburg also means getting a hair-cut. A friend of mine is the world’s best haircutter. ;) You say what you want and she does a really nice job. This time I said: something edgy but not to much. I like her version of my words! If you need her contact in Hamburg, let me know.
We had a little spontaneous blogger meeting in Hamburg on saturday. It was really nice to see everyone in real life. So sad that all the others had no time, but there will be a next one for sure! This time “Lachsbrötchen“, “New Way To Walk“, “FashionJunk“, “Vergissmeinnicht” and “In Lust we trust” who was working at the girlie-fleamarket, joined the meeting.
