Ok, I’m hooked now. I never really liked Marc by Marc Jacobs. I don’t know why. For me it was this strange upperclass NYC Streetstyle Brand. The last days I passed the store at Bleecker Street a few times. My colleague was so hot about going there, so we went in. Everyone was really nice and friendly. Sometimes when I go in stores, especially streetwear-shops, I don’t feel really comfortable. The people that work in those store making feel bad somehow. A bit like: “You!? No you are not cool enough to wear something like this.” At the Marc by Marc Jacobs Store it was so the oposite and kind of hipster alert. ;) Funny, normally I would never have tried anything on, but there it was no problem. I’m so totally broke so I just bought a ring and a necklace. If I could, I would buy more. ;) What I also like is 25% of the money that they make in the store goes straight to a foundation called “Creativegrowth“, an art center that takes care for people with mental and physical disabilities.
