Karlascloset Online Shop

Blogger sweetheart “Karlascloset” opened her own “Online Shop” those days. It is becoming more and more popular that bloggers do their own buissness. Nice to see, because they are have a really specific knowlegde about what people want to buy. Hopefully Karla is building it a bit because whenever I’m looking into her shop, everything is sold out. No wonder, because she offers some really hot prices!

Friday is digging day

Friday is eBay-day, because “Liebe Marlene” is updating her shop on thursdays. For european people, kind of friday because of the time-shift. ;) Some of you, the german part, may think it is a german shop, but “Liebe Marlene” is american. She is also writing a blog with the same name. I like her american vintage style. Everything looks pure and authentic about her. I like if someone like her is so detailed about their style! It can be any style but you need to feel that it is real and I can feel “Liebe Marlene“. That not so often and outstanding to me.

Today's Favorite

I know, shoes are Today’s Favorite again. What should I do? I can’t work against it. It must come out before I go crazy…..
The pattern is the same as the Clark Desert Boots. Do you remember? I tried to order the desert boots over the Clarks Website. It ended up in a desaster. Yeah, really bad service! Never try this. But those wedges are from “Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair“. It would be great to give it a try, but I have to save money for vacation. ;)

Some of you already saw it, we have a “Facebook Account” now :) Yeah it took a while, because I’m not really sure about it. In our job we always say that it is so important to be where the audience is, we had to do it anyway. So here we go. Become a fan of “weareyouneak” or follow us on Facebook. Would do you think about Facebook blog-groups and fanpages?

Permanent Vacation SS 2010

Swedish invasion today, like always. ;) The last lookbook of “Permanent Vacation” last summer was really everywhere to see. No blog without the romanic looking pictures of “Permanent Vacation“. This year they follow their line and come out with a high-quality lookbook but still in a romanic way. Last summer we met Emma Harling at a “Showroom evening” where she was presenting her stuff. A really nice person.

Saga Lova – A/W 2010 Video

The missing video of the “Saga Lova” photo exhibition. I really like it, because of the colors and the mood. Video lookbooks are a great way to show collections and I hope to see more in the future.

If there is a shoe-god, can you please let the weather-god know that we people in the northern part of the world need some good weather to wear that kind of nice shoes from “Jeffrey Campbell” that I saw at “Nasty Gal“? Thanks!

Winter moments

This winter is really heavy. Yesterday it was -25 degrees combined with a heavy snow-storm. I am really in need of some sun and warmth. A beach would be nice too! Once the sun comes out though, the light is incredible and it was fun taking my new lens out for a walk.

Rugged Man in Town

Last week we were at the Jedi Mind Tricks concert at Debaser Medis right around the corner of our “new” home on Södermalm. Luckily RA the Rugged Man was featured so it was well worth a visit. Since we were there mostly to see him perform, we didn’t get that many pics on the Jedi Minds, sorry! ;-) The place was really crowded and it was good to see some things are still alive, even this far up north. But please dear Swedes: Please learn how to handle the alcohol. Y’all drink one beer and get really nuts… Prost,
Philipp

Saga Lova Photo Exhibition

Saga Lova” had a photo exhibition yesterday and a little movie was shown. Both are showing the new A/W collection 2010-2011. I’m wondering if the little movie is online somewhere, it would be nice to see it again.

Pressday – Patouf

Patouf” was showing the new collection for A/W 2010 – 2011 as well. I have to say that I saw the logo before but I didn’t see anything from the collections. Really wearable stuff. On the website they say: Creating feminine chic yet with a girly touch. That’s really on point. I also like the SS Collection 2010 that you find on the website.

Pressday – Saga Lova

The last years summer, Philipp and I went to the “Saga Lova Show” and we both really liked it. May be it was not so Hope, not so Acne, not so Filippa K, but still swedish in a way. “Saga Lova” is one of those swedish labels that are going their own way. For me personally, always a highlight if someone tries to do something special and not step into anyone elses footsteps. I like! I also like the coat and that the designer did not use real fur! You need to know: Swedish people like real fur! I hate it, even if it is vintage. So if you have some time, have a look at the “Saga Lova website“.

Pressday – Ulrika Sandström

Today, “SpaltPr” opened the doors for a pressday with the new A/W 2010-2011 collections of “Saga Lova“, “Matilda Wenelboe“, “Patouf” and “Ulrika Sandström“. At the moment I have really a lot to do at work so that nearly couldn’t make it. Yeah but somehow I always find 5 minutes somewhere. ;)
So work was calling and I had to hurry up. All the designers where inhouse and it was a nice atmosphere. It was sad that I didn’t have some more time to spend to ask “Ulrika Standström” some things about her collections. I was kind of surpised about it, but in a good why! I’m a huge fan of her and I like her feminine style. The new collection looks really London-Like with a schwedish edgy kind look. Clean cuts and great materials. I like and fell in love with a jumpsuite again. Later more about the other designers and some pictures.

American Archive

I can’t stop looking at eBay. ;) So if we are talking about eBay and Vintage stuff, we have to talk about “American Vintage“. I think it is the blogger’s favorite eBay store. It is full of nice and good sorted stuff for both girls and BOYS! I can’t say which one my favorite dress or my favorite shoes are. Everything looks good in a way. Shit, that’s so bad. I want really everything. They are presenting it in a too good way. The styling really is an eyechatcher!

Weekday SS 2010

Since the “Weekday Pressday” last summer I was waiting for the release day of the transparent shoes. Yesterday was the day as I found them in the Weekday Shop on Södermalm. Ok, it is still too cold but the day will come and then I will be the happiest person on the road. ;) Even Philipp likes them and it’s not so often that he is up with something that is not a sneaker. ;) I also like the transparent shirt and the fringe jacket. Looks a bit like the Acne fringe jacket just in a cheaper version.

ONLINE SHOPPING XXXVIIIX

I like this moment when the season’s are changing and the shops fill up the stores with new stuff! The new season feels as reachable as spring right now. “Topshop” has been pushing in the new collections since a few weeks and I like what I see. When the new seasons start I always have some last season favorites left and I’m sad that I didn’t buy them. Even when they are on sale, because I will spend all my money for new stuff. ;)
PS: I’m still searching for a bag ;)

Hammarby Side

Even though this sunshine is great, it’s really time for some warmth now. And hell yeah, we will get it soon. ;-) Nonetheless we took the opportunity and took a walk in our new neighborhood on Södermalm. Just down the street is a small public ferry that takes you across the water to Hammarby Sjöstad, a whole new district that reminds a bit of “1984″ or the intro of Weeds “Little boxes…all the same…”. I really prefer “Altbau” with lots of soul. But it sure is great to have so much nature right in front of your footsteps and hey, they even got a small mountain with two lifts there! So if you feel like snowboarding, rock on!

Sons of Anarchy

Two weeks ago, we were at the “Henry Rollins – Spoken Words Tour“. If you have the possibility to see it, take the chance. He is really funny, such a great speaker and got something to say. During his show, he spoke about a series called “Sons of Anarchy” where he plays a neo nazi…. Everyone who know a bit about “Henry Rollins“, knows, he is everything but a nazi. He was talking about the cast and why the director choose him. We know that there some series-junkies out there. ;) “Sons of Anarchy is really worth to see and “Henry Rollins” is steping in, in Season II. It’s all about hot bikers, milfs and rock’n'roll.

Video – Fahrtag

Every water that surrounds Stockholm is deep frozen. If you have ever been to Stockholm you know that means something. Stockholm is built on 14 main islands and thousands of little islands around. It’s kind of fun because everyone is going iceskating or just taking a walk on the water. Like we did. The music is by “Stella“, a band from Hamburg. I guess boys hate Elena’s voice because it is full of woman’s hectic and so overloaded. I just love it! ;) If you have Spotify just search for “Stella – Shoes“. Sorry not for Germany! ;)

Support yourself

A while ago, Katharina of “I♥PONYS” asked me, if I could help her with something. And of course, since I had some time I support another blogger. I’m so happy that the German blogger-scene is supporting eachother. Let me tell you, that is not that usal everywhere. The point is, if we support eachother in a way we are becoming such a bigger lobby and becoming more serious than before. I like the fact that the german bloggers link other bloggers and meet as often as possible. Like I met Katharina when she was in Stockholm. So yesterday I got a big letter from her with this two bags and a postcard from Hamburg. Thank you!!! One bag is from the “Blonde Magazine” where she is working since a while. Hopefully you will show your face next time at the Stockholm Fashion Week. The chair next to us at the “Minimarket Show” was reserved for “Blonde Mag” ;) This time someone else that we also know sat on your seat. ;) It was a pleasure to help you. If I have some time, it is no problem. Please don’t be mad at …

Minimarket Show

As I wrote in the beginng, Philipp and I went to just to a few shows this week because we both had to work a lot. We just picked the ones we really wanted to see. “Minimarket” was our favorite and as expected really colorful and bright! Nobody uses clean cuts, patterns and bright colors in such a good way. Needless to say the shoes are a class of it’s own! Let’s buy some, like my colleague last week. The right shoes make your life so much better! Sorry for the unsharp pictures, the flashlight was making strange things the whole week. I guess it’s time for a new one. Next to us was a blogger from Norway, Vanillascented. Sympatisch.
