We were on the release party of the “Weekday Socks” yesterday. The locations was really nice and the people there had such a good time. We came home with some really colorful socks ;) My favorite were the orange/pink ones and Philipp took the yellow ones.

Yesterday we went to one of my favorite spots in Stockholm, Tarek’s “Monkey Bizz” and I found those really cool tees from Rockers and Mishka. As an old metal-head I definitely love the graphics! While those were on sale, the new fall collection is about to arrive today. Better grab some before it’s too late! Philipp
We were out for couple of drinks yesterday. First we made a stop at the “F12” and ended up at “Horstull Strand“. I love that place, also at daytime. Such a nice place to be. Like Hamburg a few years before the “Schanze” (a district of Hamburg) changed it’s face so much.

I found this super nice fake leather jacket at “Monki” and fell in love with it right away. The socks are from “Urban Outfitters“, so is the grey nailpolish. “Cheapo” is my favorite brand for sunglasses. The white frame and the mirror-like glasses are really cool.
We now got ourselves a new home! The best thing is we have a elevator. Yeah! But Philipp told me that most of the houses have one. Surrounded by water on little island waiting for Buzz-T and his girlfriend to hit the road for the first time.

Before we drove into the city to get our keys for the new appartment, we were on a boat trip around Vaxholm. When we later arrived at Sneakers’n'Stuff to look for some new sneakers for Philipp we met an old friend from Hamburg, DJ Buzz T and his girlfriend. Crazy how small this world is. So Hamburg friends: Take an example! ;-) We spent some time and I found some really nice stuff. More about that and our new appartment tomorrow.

Toppen and jätte bra are my favorite expressions in swedish ;) You can use them for the so good telecommunication net. I love it. You can surf everywhere. I know I wrote it before but I love it as much as the great nature were we are right now.
After the stressful last months we are trying to have a few days off before we will move into our new appartment. It will be also nice to be in the city again and see what’s going on there.
I just found this so nice start-up brand “Anne-Sophie Hotot” at the London “Blow“. I love the colors and the cuts. Hope to see more in the future.
We left Hamburg to go to Stockholm and what happend? Stockholm is coming to Hamburg. The Swedish fashion label “Acne” will open a Pop-Up Archive store in Hamburgs Schanzen Quarter.
From the 7th -17th August 2009 the Archive store will be based in the mono concept store,
Rosenhofstr. 5, 20357 Hamburg, in the heart of the “Schanze”. The mono concept store is the home of the Hamburg fashion label mono concept and the mono gallery, which serves as a platform for young artists.
This will be the first time Acne opens an Archive store outside of Scandinavia. Next to old classics and rare recycled pieces there will also be heavily reduced pieces from the ss09 Acne collection.

We had two really hard days behind us. All the things we need to do had to be done. We registered for a person-number, we went to the imigration office, employment exchange and to the language school. Without a person-number nothing works and you can’t do anything, not even rent a movie! ;) My language test was funny. After 3 hours sitting in a hot office with hundreds of other people, I did a really difficult test. Guess what!? My swedish is not as bad as I tought. I could have gone to a D course. The A course is for beginners and the E course is for the best ones. But at the end I dicided to go to a C course, because it was a multiple choice test ;)

It’s my secound wishlist of “OAK NYC” because it has a great urban style and such a nice mix of gorgeous brands like “Acne“, “Henrik Vibskov” and “Surface to Air“.

What is the most important thing for a swedish person after its peronalnumber (we don’t have that in Germany)? Right, the phonenumber ;) and I’ve got one now!!! And the best thing is, I can call Philipp for free and everyone else in my net. The telecommunication is so much better in Sweden than in Germany. Germany is hundreds of years back. Believe me, you can’t surf everywhere and not that fast ;) Our Pause.se account is up again.
